About Us

We meet regularly to listen to stories and to share ideas, sources and skills. Just come along and experience our stories. You are welcome to tell a story or just listen to others.

We tell a wide range of tales from folklore, faith and multicultural contexts.

We host occasional performances from professional storytellers. Our banner shows some of our celebrity visitors...

The club has had stories told by people from many parts of the UK and even a group of storytellers from Japan. On special occasions, particularly when we have storytellers from afar, we meet in local halls and meeting rooms.

Some of our storytellers are available to tell at events you may be organising. If you would like to request a storyteller, please email us with details, or email Julian. His details can be found on our contacts page.

Other storytellers are on Zoom too. As an example, you might like to go to Bag O'Tales storytellers who are based in Lancaster. They meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month. For more details see their facebook page.
